Apheon is looking to recruit an Analyst for its Milan office. The candidate will be a member of the investment team.

Job description

The Analyst will participate in all phases of private equity transactions (origination, deal execution, monitoring and exit). This will include in particular:

− Scouting of investment opportunities through market mapping and similar activities.

− Analysis and evaluation of potential target companies and related markets/sectors.

− Preparation of financial and operating models.

− Support the deal team in the various due diligence workstreams.

− Drafting of internal investment committee memos on investment opportunities and presentations.

− Support on reporting activities and monitoring of investments performance.

− Working closely with senior team members.

− Etc.

Required experience

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of professional experience in (i) investment banking, and/or (ii) strategic consulting in a leading international institution. He/she has had exposure to M&A processes and has strong financial and LBO modelling experience.

Education

Academic degree in Economics or engineering ideally graduated from Tier-1 universities in Italy or abroad and combined with an MBA.

Fluent in Italian and English.
